Scratch Bounce Back Campaign 

The Scratch Bounce Back Campaign works very similar to the Scratch Sales Boost Campaign, where you offer a variety of prizes, and customers bring their UNSCRATCHED postcard into your business to see what they have won. The difference is that instead of mailing these out to your existing Rewards Members, these are handed out in person. It’s a great way to get new customers into the business, and new Rewards Members as well!

The goal of this campaign is to take advantage of busy periods, either in your business or in the community (or both!), to boost sales during slow periods. For example, if your business is slow in July, you would hand out a Scratch Bounce Back Campaign in June, and have your customers return in July to redeem their prize.

There are many ways you can use this campaign depending on your goals – hand them out at the end of every customer transaction, at community events, trade shows, bridal events, or consider partnering with other local businesses in your area.

Getting Started 

The first step is to call your Coach! They will walk you through every step to make sure this campaign is a success. The campaign will be customized depending on what will work best for your business.

To get started:
  • Decide on your prizes. We suggest having one big prize, with a number of smaller prizes, and suggest giving away four options. Every postcard will be a winner, so keep that in mind when selecting your prizes.
  • Decide on your disclaimer. We recommend keeping it simple - if your disclaimer is complicated, it’s less likely customers will come in to redeem their prize.
  • Decide on your timeline. Make sure you have plenty of time to hand them out and have a clear window of when your customers can redeem their prize. 

Getting The Word Out 

Let your customers know what’s going on! We recommend having signage up in your business to promote the Scratch Bounce Back Campaign (we can help!), and remind customers when they need to come back to redeem their prize.

With your Scratch Bounce Back campaign, your Coach will:

  • Send 2 promotional emails explaining the campaign to your customers and driving them into your business.
  • Send 2 reminder emails to come in and see what they have won!   

Sign Them Up 

Your team MUST be prepared to redeem and sign up customers as they come into your business with the Scratch Bounce Back Postcards. The first step of getting them INTO your business has been accomplished; the next step is ensuring they get a WOW experience, and are immediately enrolled into your Rewards program if they are not already a member.

It is also important that your staff understand how to fulfill the prizes that your customers have won. Staff training docs are available from your Coach.

Timeline 

Place your order with your Coach at least 3 weeks in advance of when you want to start your campaign, to allow for printing and shipping.
