Bounce Back Campaigns

The Bounce Back Campaign is a powerful way to drive repeat visits—whether you’re using a single-offer postcard or a fun scratch-to-reveal version with multiple prizes.

Here’s how it works:

Instead of mailing them out like the Scratch Sales Boost Campaign, these postcards are handed out in person—right at your counter, out in the community, or through local partnerships. It's perfect for bringing in new customers, and even better for growing your Rewards Member list!

There are two ways to run it:

1. The Scratch Bounce Back Campaign
This version includes a variety of prizes that customers can scratch to reveal. The catch? They can’t scratch it themselves—they have to bring the UNSCRATCHED postcard back to your business to reveal and redeem their prize. That curiosity is what gets them in the door!

2. The Traditional Bounce Back Campaign
This one’s simple. Just one strong offer printed on the card—like “A FREE Dessert.” Easy to explain. Easy to use. Still super effective.

Both versions are meant to take advantage of a busy time to drive traffic during a slower one. For example:
If July is usually slow, hand out the cards during June while business is buzzing, and set the redemption period for July.

You can use these postcards in all kinds of ways:
  • Hand them out with every receipt
  • Give them out at local events or festivals
  • Use them at trade shows or bridal fairs
  • Team up with another small business and hand out each other’s cards

It's a fun, engaging way to get your customers to come back and visit you!

Getting Started 

The first step is to call your Coach! They will walk you through every step to make sure this campaign is a success. The campaign will be customized depending on what will work best for your business.

To get started:
  • Decide on your prizes/offer. We suggest having one big prize, with a number of smaller prizes, and suggest giving away four options. Every postcard will be a winner, so keep that in mind when selecting your prizes.
  • Decide on your disclaimer. We recommend keeping it simple - if your disclaimer is complicated, it’s less likely customers will come in to redeem their prize.
  • Decide on your timeline. Make sure you have plenty of time to hand them out and have a clear window of when your customers can redeem their prize. 

Getting The Word Out 

Let your customers know what’s going on! We recommend having signage up in your business to promote your Bounce Back Campaign (we can help!), and remind customers when they need to come back to redeem their prize.

With your Bounce Back campaign, your Coach will:

  • Send 2 promotional emails explaining the campaign to your customers and driving them into your business. These will be sent out during the time period you are handing out the Bounce Back cards. 
  • Send 2 reminder emails to come in and see what they have won!  These will be sent out during the redemption time period to remind customers to bring in the Bounce Card to redeem their prize. 

Sign Them Up 

Your team MUST be prepared to redeem and sign up customers as they come into your business with the Bounce Back Postcards. The first step of getting them INTO your business has been accomplished; the next step is ensuring they get a WOW experience, and are immediately enrolled into your Rewards program if they are not already a member.

It is also important that your staff understand how to fulfill the prizes that your customers have won. Staff training docs are available from your Coach.

Timeline 

Place your order with your Coach at least 3 weeks in advance of when you want to start your campaign, to allow for printing and shipping.

Enrollment Bounce Back 

The Enrollment Bounce Back Campaign is a simple but powerful way to turn new sign-ups into return visits fast. As soon as someone joins your Rewards Program, you hand them a Bounce Back postcard with a special offer—like “$10.00 off your next visit” or “Free appetizer on your next meal.” To create urgency, write or stamp an expiration date right on the card when you hand it out. This campaign is an easy way to reinforce the value of joining your program and get that second visit locked in while your business is still fresh in their mind.
